Yoshinigami

As the rain falls down on what appears to be an empty street, a lone girl walks along, her umbrella playing to the beat of a high school drumline.  The rain rushes into a nearby drain, the roar of the rushing water slowly making its way to the girl's ears.  The strings of lights laced across the trees, doorways, and rooftops combined with the classic style of the streetlights remind her of what this time of year means to her, even if she will not be able to see the snow this time.  A faint chorus echoes through the drizzle as she turns the corner.  A small local church is holding its Christmas pageant, the boy's choir singing to the majestic
